Scholarships For Study in Australia

Most Australian Universities do not provide scholarships as fee waivers for bachelors degree or masters by coursework. however, they may provide bursaries if the candidate has exceptional merit.

For Research programs like doing a PhD, there are a few options. the student can apply for the IPRS (International Post graduate research scholarship) or the university administered equivalent. this type of scholarship covers the full tuition fee and provides a living allowance of tax free 20,000 A$ per year. However, these are very competitive and one may have to try for multiple universities to get one of these.
